A connection beyond graduation.
Starting and supporting the SCU Veterans Alumni Network on LinkedIn in coordination with the Alumni Office.
Why I started it
Veteran students build valuable relationships while navigating school and the transition into civilian careers. I wanted those connections to continue after graduation.
What I did
I initiated the network and worked with Santa Clara’s Alumni Office to establish its LinkedIn presence. I supported the messaging, launch, and content, with a focus on professional connection and a stronger link between students and alumni.
Why it matters to me
As an Air Force veteran, I know how much a trusted community can help during a transition. This was a chance to help build one that could last beyond my own time at Santa Clara.
